XYiisQ wrote I am going to get my wisdom teeth removed soon. I am pretty freaked out, I can not stand having someone slicing and drilling and what not in my mouth, I get a bit of a panic feeling and a surge of adrenaline. How does it feel to get them removed? How long does it hurt? What kind of pain relief were you subscribed and did it work?
I hate wisdom teeth.
EDIT: I want to be mentally prepared for what I am gonna get, no surprises.
Dude same, Im getting mines removed in like 2 weeks and the worst part im being put to asleep holy shat.

A couple years ago I got mine out. All 4 at the same time and they didn't come through my gums yet so they had to dig them out. When I told people they acted like I was going to die and it was the worst thing ever. It wasn't bad at all. I went in and sat in the chair. They put a thing on my nose and an IV in my arm. The guy came in an told me what he was going to do. He said "The cool thing about this operation is that right now I'm talking to you, but the next thing you know you will be awake and it will be over". After he said that he stood up, walked behind me and the next thing I knew I was waking up. I was a little groggy. They told me to go home and sleep.....yeah right...I went home and played Xbox for the rest of the day.

I'm going to be really honest with you man. They do give you stuff to numb the pain before hand. Novacain primarily. Its rather quick if they are not impacted. About 10 minutes or so. But for 3 days(even with the meds they give you)your honestly going to be in some amount of pain. Eating soup and jello for those 3 days. Some good advice man? Take a good amount of(I'm not sure if this is not how you spell the darn thing so bare with me)Ibuprofen. Its not a pain killer but it reduces swelling really well! And make sure to rest rest and rest!
Good luck man...
