These are back ordered right now, but when they come back in stock, they'd be my first choice. They've got an ETA, which is a nice change.

If you don't want to spend as much, the V-Moda LP2 is another option. I'd actually say the LP2 is money well-saved over the Pro 900 and would recommend these over them. Not because they're better quality, but you might be happier with them and their sound. You'll also probably enjoy the looks:

You can switch the faceplates for different colors and such.

COOLADEz wrote How would you rate the M-Audio AV30 Monitors?

I'm not really in a position to rate them, but I'd get these unpowered speakers instead:

And pair them with this amp:

Powered speakers are not as good as speakers with a discrete amp.

Thanks, look forward to hearing what you have to say!

Vsonic GR06, hands down. They're neutral, so they'll handle all your music well and not fall short for any particular genre. They're available on Ebay for about 40 quid, just search "Vsonic GR06" and look at the results from international sellers.

Cheers, what would you recommend for the same spec however just for less than 20gbp. Just so I have something to compare to.

Thanks, rep inbound.

I'd go for the JVC FXC51.

V-Moda LP2 if you want over-ear, Future Sonics Atrios if you want in-ear. Keep in mind that neither are good for production or monitoring. They have colored sound signatures, so the levels on anything you produce will be off. If you're going to be making music with these, I suggest you go for the Brainwavz HM5 or the Vsonic GR07.
