Well is the setting on HD? I mistakenly called it an HDMI cable, but you still need it on TV setting.

By blurry im guessing you mean the quality of the preview. Don't expect good quality out of a composite dazzle setup. If you want to improve it, set it up with s-video or upgrade to a new recording device.

I used to have that problem before I upgraded to a HD Pvr.
Methods
-Restart Computer (always worked for me)
-Upgrade Computer
-Reinstall Software
-Make sure cables are tight in the Dazzle
-Make sure your xbox component cable swith is not set on "HD TV"
-Update Software
-Update Dazzle Driver
-Buy a non torrent version of the software (if you have a torrent)
Hope This Helped!

Make sure all the drivers are updated, and the program is running right. Then check your cables!

The reason why it appears laggy is because you must not have a very fast computer, or at least not a lot of ram. The reason it looks like garbage is because a composite setup for the dazzle will never look any better than crap. Either get the s-video setup, or upgrade to a new recording device.
