you would need to get a flashed xbox and also make or buy an ISO disk with the ability to host 10th lobbies on WAW

and if you would prefer to flash it yourself well then you can look up a TUT here which will show you step by step how you can flash your xbox

You get a cheackerboard map (infections) by using a xbox that can run unsighned code (a patch), xboxs that can run these codes are unable to come online, they are normally JTAG's and RGH's, both of these are able to run this type of code, the way people actually get the infections is by running their code on a jtag or rgh and then joining a system link lobby on there retailed xbox (one you buy out the shop) and then going online and doing as they please. If you get a sallaz mod menu you have the abillity to infect other people with the menu and their is a option that you can select so you can get the 10th checkerboard) hope this has helped you.

You can mod waw zombies with a USB stick and get 10th just watch tutorial on youtube i've done it and found it pretty simple.
