So i bought a RGH slim and on the HDD was MW2 / MW3 / Cod:BO

- MW2 Will not load, it just gives a black screen and i have tried adding the new TU7 files in the cache and replacing the common_mp etc... but still doesn't work.
- MW3 works , but fairly useless atm.
- Cod:BO works , again.. fairly useless atm.

So i tried to install Cod4 and Cod5 to my HDD via XeX menu. and neither will work
- Cod4 just gives a black screen every time, ive replaced most files and installed multiple times and still it will not work.
- Cod5 i haven't edited any files but it keeps saying "Call of Duty : World at War loading" and keeps flashing over and over without going any further.

Please can someone help with the Cod4 / MW2, the others at the moment i really couldn't care about..

Edit: I found that when i signed out of the profile, all games would load fine. But as soon as i sign in they go black screen again.

Edit 2: I got a error message on MW2 saying that "connection to xbox live interrupted" even though its a offline profile.

Edit 3: I formatted the HDD, re added XeX menu and all the folders. Installed Cod4 from Clean ISO converted Files (wb360) and it still does the same thing...

If there is a patch on MW2/CoD4 remove it and see what happens, if that doesn't work try a fresh default_mp.xex, and if that doesn't work just re-download the iso and put it on xexmenu.

And as for CoD5 you need a new iso.

I have downloaded a Cod 4 iso yesterday, i converted the files to put on the RGH using wb360 and it still black screens... even before i changed anything...

Any ideas?

this problem has been processing rather a-lot these few days.

Try to make a new Game Folder and then transfer / download the new Mw2 files to that folder.

if that fails to work, try re-downloading XeX Menu - i know it's a pain but sometimes it does work in some cases.

I just tried loading all the games without being signed in and Cod4 worked perfect.

But now i cant join system link because im not signed in?

Any ideas on how to fix?

try signing in at the main menu? if it starts to flickr then sign back out.

All of the games work when im not signed in, i just tested..

If i load them then press system link it asks me to sign in, if i sign in it just goes black screen.

I've created another profile and it does the exact same..

Try plugging a USB Into the Jtag, and transfer the account to the USB And Sign in from there.

also check your HDD / Memory / Games if you have any corrupt files delete them.

I just kept signing in and out on W@W and i noticed a error pop up,

error: "Microsoft error 1627 building storage path to the file called motd-english.txt"

Does that help?
