Get 14 obsidian, place 4 in a line on the floor, then on the far left and far right blocks you stack a further 3 on top then you connect the two 3 block towers at the top of your structure and then get flint and steel and light the 2 middle blocks at the bottom

a 4x5 portal should do then light it with a flint and steel
