If your router has the option of turning of the wireless, I would assume that would improve it?

Clear your Cache
Reset Modem also unplug it from the Power Source for 10 mins so its fully Dead then restart .
I sometimes have issues like this and these steps seem to help .
MW3 Connection is lacking at the Best of times . i disable DLC and it seems to search for Close range games .
