So I just bought a Jtag off Craigslist it was a falcon and I plugged it into my monitor with component cables, it gave me E79 I texted the guy he told me to use component cables. So I did, the light went green and then it finally turned on. Now it wont happen again. HELP ME!

wat. wat. wat. ? You used component cables, and then used component cables. Try a different power supply.

I found out the source-ish.
I can turn it on my plugging the power brick into the Xbox and taking it out, takes a couple tries but it works. What is the issue?

find the secondary error code for the rrod and look it up on google, that shoul help you out.

I don't think anything is wrong with it. It has to do with the power supply/cables.

Two flashing lights indicates overheating.

To find the secondary error code, first get the 2 red lights.

Hold the sync button and press eject, the lights will change. All lights flashing = 0, 1 light = 1, 2 = 2 and 3 = 3.

You should get a four number sequence.
