i3-2100 / AMD 6850 or higher.
A 2500k isn't needed for BF3 in particular and will only drive the price up. A 2GB card or higher is recommend though if you start cranking up MSAA / overall texture quality.

Don't go for anything less than a quad/ six core PC with 2-3GB graphics card.[/code]

From personal experience a with core i3 2100 and a 560 ti you cand comfortably play on "High" smoothly.
I wouldnt go any lower than that though.

To run Medium Specs easily I would go with an i3-2100, with a 550ti. But prices these days 560ti's aren't much more.

Thanks but I don't need any of those any more. My friend is selling me his Asus G73. It can run BF3 on ultra at 50+ fps and TF maxed out at over 70 fps.
