Drop down to a 2500k since the hyper-threading cores that justifies the increased price has no benefit in most games, including BF3.

With the $100 you saved, grab an after-market cooler. I'd recommend a Hyper 212 / Corsair A50 / Xigmatek Gaia ( $30 price ) - NH-D14 / Silver Arrow / Phanteks ( $80+ range ).

Zip ties are provided by your PSU and they are generally black and not overly long.

Grab a half decent PSU in terms of quality like a 750w OCZ ZT / Corsair TX/AX / XfX / Seasonic / certain Antec's. CM make phenomenal cases, not PSU's. Price difference is not relevant.

You listed a socket AM3+ board - Sandy Bridge = 1155 = P67/Z68/Z77. Grab a MSI Z77 G43 since it'll offer anything you'd ever use.

I don't know too much about audio equipment, but I would rather get a half decent speaker set that offers good quality rather than some cheap system. Same goes for the KB/mouse although it highly depends on preference.

You don't understand what I mean, no Intel CPU ever made in existence will NOT physically fit in ANY AMD board out there. PERIOD.

LGA 1155 = 1155 pins = need compatible socket 1155 MOBO = P67/Z68/Z77 chipsets.

Generation is right, and you should take all of his advice.

Get good speakers instead of those. The Creative T3130 is the most similar alternative that's actually stellar for the price.

The Rosewill RK-800G is a better keyboard for a fraction of the price.

Get the cheapest DVD drive you can, don't pay a cent more than you have to.
