People that say they're anything aren't hipsters; they're just people that ran out of attention from what they were before attempting to be hipsters. They usually use Grados.

Real hipsters (extensions of the Beatniks of decades ago) don't give a **** about anything.

That's true but I'm talking about the people who say they are hipsters now, who really don't know what that is haha

Grados in public... That seems to sum them up pretty well.

I visited Cornell (Pretty sure that's the Ivy for hipsters?) last week and I totally saw a student wearing one of the older Grados. I mean I love Grados for indie rock, but that's obnoxious.

And I figured, but actual hipsters are really interesting (if you don't believe me, research the Beatniks of the 50's and 60's). Hipsters are kind of diluted Beatniks. It's the posers that give them a bad name.
