Technically the egg came first. An egg was probably hatched to make the first chicken as a result of evolution.
So id say an EGG CAME FIRST

the chicken had to come first without it the egg would not have the proper warmth or protection needed to properly hatch

The chicken. Evolution must of made the duck into a chicken after long generations.
then the duck laid an egg.

I THINK...that since chickens are supposedly evolved from dinosaurs, that a dinosaur laid an egg,BUT it was a deformed dinosaur that came out,now known as a chicken because any animal can be deformed.

so maybe 2 deformed dinosaurs or,now chickens did 'it'.and now there was a new species of animal.
