Ok so when im swapping my broken dvd drive on my retail to my RRoD console. Do i take out the retail pcb board and put it in the RRoD dvd drive and put the drive back in my retail will it automatically find the DvD key because of the Pcb board or will i have to find it manually?

As long as the drives are the same model then yes you can desolder the PCB boards and swap them straight over without having to manually find the DVD key, I recently did the same thing to fix a friends DVD drive.
