I know it's kinda noobish but i need to use it with script mods or i can play without replacing it? what the common.rpf does?

You don't need to replace it, but it has things like your handling, speed car mods, drift cars, and if you want to take out the water or not.

So basically it will just be the normal game with scripts if you don't replace it.
