loserga wrote It's fine if you like them, but for transparency's sake it's better to list the other headphones that you've listened to and explain why you prefer one over the others.

Part of the reason I like them so much though is because they're a relatively cheap price, compared to Beats or various others. But it is my opinion, and if others don't agree, I'm fine with that.

I really wish my iPod had a USB port on it, so I could use my Turtle Beaches. The Bass Boost volume button is really cool IMO, and they're cheap as well (I have X-12's)...I hope I followed the OP guideline there.

USB to 3.5mm? eBay is your friend.

Way overpriced (look for the ones for <$5) but this is basically what you're looking for right?

Not sure if that's it. My Turtle Beaches have a USB port on them, so I don't need one. I think I may be able to get them rigged to work on my iPod if I do a few things to them, but regardless if I need that or not, thanks for the link.

I'd look no further than the V-Moda LP2. You can get custom shields on their site to make them look even better.

what is the difference between LP and LP2?

The LP2 has different drivers (slightly better sound) but I can't really say if the LP2 is worth buying over the LP because I haven't tried the LP2.

Honestly, I'd save the $120. The LP will sound a bit worse, but you probably won't notice the difference in sound (maybe a little bit more refinement and tightness in bass that I can teach you to fix for about $5 if you want) since you haven't heard anything better, which is good, since this is an addicting hobby.

Your budget (make sure you tell me what currency!)200GBP

Which genres you'll be listening to. Dubstep,Rap

What kind you want (over-ear, on-ear, in-ear, no preference, etc.) and whether you want portability. On ear,, dont mind about portability

Whether you want open or closed headphones (Explained below). Closed

What you are listening from (iPod, phone, desktop computer, laptop, console, turntable, etc.).
I will refer to this as your source. Iphone/Desktop Computer

Thanks in advance!

If you don't care about portability, I'd definitely go over-ear because it's more comfortable and they tend to sound better. Check out the Audio Technica Pro 700 MkII, V-Moda LP2. The Aiaiai TMA-1 is also a good on-ear option, but I'd go for one of the over-ear headphones instead.

And there's no need to PM me, if I'm at my computer, I'll answer ASAP.
