About the "Aliens" - Put this into consideration: If there are other beings in space, they need crazy technology to travel the thousands of light years to get to us. If they had that powerful technology, why would they come into the earths atmosphere to spy on us? They could just hide by mars and be like "Oh, there goes a ho."

About Chernobyl- Chernobyl was a melt down. Nothing more, nothing less. It's still inhabitable because of the ridiculous amounts of radiation that came out of Reactor 4. Why would you test a nuke in a city? If they wanted to see how radiation would affect humans, why would they evacuate within a night? They wouldn't. The Ukrainian government wouldn't let them know.

Area 51- This is the only part of your post that's kind of proving a point, minus the radiation claim. Area 51 is ASSUMED to be a base that develops secret aircraft. It's kinda creepy how NO ONE goes in that's not allowed. Watch some videos, It's odd to see kids with cameras go as far as a no trespassing sign, then you start to see cars come on the hills around the sign and people will just watch you. WHATEVER is in there, the government and military doesn't want us to know. I still think its just powerful technology, but I could be wrong.

Okay, number 1 - Put this into consideration: There a potentially limitless reasons why aliens would want to 'get to us'. This is of course presuming that Alien life even exists, but if it does then I don't see any reason why they wouldn't want to come to us...

Number 2 - Yes Chernobyl was a meltdown - of nuclear reactors. I'm guessing the original poster thought that they would be testing nuclear weapons outside area 51 and he used Chernobyl as an example of how bad that could be.... He did not mention anything about testing the effect of radiation on humans, where d'ya get that from?
