Assuming the next monitor you upgrade to would be 1920 x 1080 at minimum, you can pick yourself up a GTX 560 / AMD 6870.

Both EVGA and XfX are top tier brands and are both a solid choice.
If you want to open your options even further and don't mind buying a slightly used video card, you could probably snag yourself a GTX 560 ti / AMD 6950 / GTX 570 / AMD 6970 ( may be a little more than you're comfortable spending, but it'd be worth it ). A lot of the times the cards are still under manufacturer warranty so you'd be covered. Personally this is what I would do - you'd be surprised how fast some people are to dish out their already mid-range to higher end video card and sell it for a killer price just to upgrade to something newer for the hell of it.

....Oh, GBP...that changes everything - you should of been more specific. The Asus 560 ti 448 core is on par with a 570 and is a great bang for the buck card.
