It was fun for a day. I already have all the achievements again. I've completed both sides of the story. Got the Avrak the mount. Now I have nothing to do. I would only get it if your okay with wasting 20 dollars. I got got it because I'm an Elder Scrolls fanboy though.

I think it's alright. I was a little disappointed to be honest. I finished the DLC on the vampire side, and I really don't feel like I got anything special. I got the vampire lord power and everything, but I really don't enjoy playing as the vampire lord. The entire DLC felt like you were just running errands that had nothing to do with fighting the Dawnguard, helping the vampires, etc. I was expecting a lot of fights between the Dawnguard (and a big battle at the end of the questline), but none of it happened. Compared to Fallout DLC's, I think this was disappointing. Instead of a brand new questline, it felt like the DLC just gave a lot of random quests with some decent items that you can get. Overall, I'd give it a 7/10.

to be honest i did find it quite fun, but i wouldn't say it had 20-40 hours of gameplay, i completed both sides of the story and found that the ending kinda sucked i wont ruin it and say what happens, just that i felt like it was open ended. The actual storyline is quite good, but unfortunatly feels asthough you spend your time doing alot of nothing that actualy contributes towards Dawnguard Vs Vampires, seeing as most of the quests dont involve the other party, the quests are actualy not bad but again not raly anything different, i feel asthough its somthing that shouldnt have taken nearly 8 months to release as there isnt a lot of content in it, theres more than the usual DLC for the older title oblivion, but its closer to knights of the Nine rather than shivering isles, where it adds a few new locations to the current map and a few new items but not a whole lot.
