Well I dont know if its a virus but programs are randomly getting deleted off my computer such as google chrome and anti-virus programs! Also shortcuts are being added to my desktop that I never put there1
WHAT IS THE ISSUE?
And I download Google Chrome but it wont install Y_Y so now Im forced with IE

Hmm maybe a rat read some of the sticky's and download key-scrambler so those pesky keyloggers cant get to you

Virus i would say go through and remember if you have installed anyhting recently, if so remove by going
start, control pannel, programs, uninstall a program...

I did a scan with Hitman Pro and I got Safari to install but not google chrome T_T
