well im building a computer and i have to get a intel processor since my motherboard is intel.but im thinking of getting a i3 but im not sure

you don't need an intel processor, but they are the best ones. any i7 processor should fit your needs.

What parts are you looking at and what's your budget? Any software or games you plan on using?

no my friend has a i3 OC to 4.5 Ghz so they are good oh and my budget is $700
