It's a simple question; why? If it is because we believe in a "little man in the sky", then what about Hindus? They believe in a person made of gold with four arms.

Most people do that probably because how a lot of Christians judge Atheists and other religions. I see stones being thrown on both sides, so I'm not going to be affiliated with either side. People bash other religions and it's sad. As long as they aren't harming others just respect their beliefs.

I don't hate Christians, I just dislike how some of them try to force religion on others. That's really the only issue. But not everyone does it.

I'm agnostic, not atheist. Just throwing it out there.
Personally, I hate Christians because they are the most forceful religion out there. I wouldn't mind if they kept to themselves and didn't bother me about how I'm going to hell because I don't believe in god.
Honestly, not many other religions go around and knock on peoples doors to preach or bitch because we don't believe in a god.

I feel if religion was just a belief and not overdone and made part of our everyday life and connecting it to other areas, we would be better off. My opinion is that there should be a section in Newspapers or something, that is dedicated to religion. So if someone wants to do research on your religion, they can, but by request. That way there would be no reason to bother people who don't want to hear it multiple times because they might be converted.

I honestly, don't hate the religion idea and the purpose it serves. But how extreme some people take it is what I hate.
Religion has put back society so much, that we could actually be more advanced then we are now. Sorry for the rant, but I summed up the answer as best as possible
