That's a bummer. I was trying to find a way to get it permanently, but I haven't had any luck.

Have you ever thought that maybe he can't get one? Maybe he doesn't want to pay for it? What if he did buy it but then realises he doesn't like it? Wasted money. Yes, maybe he's not supporting EA when he LT'erd, but look at the amount of people who bought it.
