Ok well it is kind of one on the other hand there is not just a random "Glitch" in a game where a certain character with especially the same type of clothing and glowing white eyes would pop up! This has to be coded in and with that being aid Notch probably coded it in s a later introduced character in Mine Craft and then people started noticing him and made posts on forums about his details and things and more and more people started seeing and it got to the point were "99%" of Mine Craft community knows about Herobrine and I don't know if all the suff about how he died and his story is right but it could have been "Notch's" or one of his friends orginal player that they coded to challenge and scare players by creating awkward 2x2 Mines and destroying there city, or it could be an mischevious nps there to hide the creation of a world like the bizzare tunnels in every block game(castle miner,total miner, etc.) and have a npc so everyone could blame there city corruptions and stuff on! And when he scares the s*** out players thats just to troll That is my complete thought about this and I think he is real but the facts ^ up there
are a little off and he has a story line created over a npc from players but yes I DO BELIEVE IT IS REAL!

You don't understand the post lmfao it is a story line for the character and what happened ofc it is real 90% of mine craft has saw him! The post is bout Herobrines story an what he does! And how they try to hide the true point in the npc! Also the fact that he is in alot of Mine Craft Pics!

i usually go 50/50 with this theory but

look at the pictures closly and some of the ign pictures seems legit , also the yellow writing on the xbox version sometimes says . " 4j studios aren't sure if herobrine has been took out the game yet " then another part of me says no because my friend tried to spawn him in using the gold blocks etc.

he did that to make you believe he is fake until you see him and no one will believe you..

He was real, I am not of PC, but on Xbox there a tip thats says, "Herobrine was taken out of the Xbox 360 Edition of Minecraft, We arent sure why though." Theres your proof he did exist. That message on the loading screen for entering worlds in one of many and doesnt show up very often. It something along those lines. Pc ONLY! Also If notch said he was fake, obviously he was not the one that put that in there.
