Ishcabible wrote I definitely would not get a K701 if you were looking at a Fanny Wang. They won't have enough bass, open as the outdoors, and you probably won't get enough volume from your source, unless it's a receiver or something.
Well what would you reccomend for something bassy in that price range? Or lower, that's always nice. Haha.

There's also the California Headphone Company Laredo would be pretty good too. They're made by the same guy as Fanny Wang, but sound a lot better. But if you want something right now, the Crossfades are your best option.

Audio Technica Pro 700 MkII or V-Moda LP2. The Pro 700 should sound better.

AKG K518 or Philips Citiscape Downtown. Both of these are bassy, which is what I assume you want.

Budge 50-100 U.S. Dollars

Music preference: Hip-Hop mainly and some rap.

Type / form factor and portability: I like the earbuds but was thinking about getting the over the ear. Though as a Footbol (not American football) player we travel a lot and like to listen to music as I run so earbuds may be a better choice.

Open/Closed (Not for in-ear): Does really matter, as long as they have some kind of bass.

Personally, I'd go with both! $100 will get you the Future Sonics Atrio X ($35) and the California Headphones Laredo. Pledge $65 on their Kickstarter and they'll ship 'em to you when they're ready!

Thanks mate! My mom was going to get me the beats but after looking around I obviously saw those weren't the right choice. I'll look into these and if I decide to pick them up I'll report back to you on how they are for me ^_^.
