Reach did kill it because bungie wanted it to. They didn't want to make the game but Microsoft forced them to, I have my doubts on halo 4 but I think 343 knows what there doing

halo3 didnt die all the noobs gave up and moved to call of duty it was a huge discussion back in 2009 halo reach killed halo for me

I miss halo 3 so much.

I wish they brought back the Halo 3 ranking system. It was the best. I felt like there was a reason to win.

I'm sure Halo 4 will bring it back to what it once was. Halo Reach was utter sh*t. Halo 4 looks like Halo 3 but 10000000x better, literally.

Halo is not dying. Look at the pre-orders for Halo 4 ( [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] . There are tons of Halo fans still left, it's just that Reach wasn't that good. Halo 4 will hopefully bring the franchise back to what it once was.

Every time a new Halo game comes out, everyone is playing it.
Then once a new game gets announced, it starts going getting a lower amount of players.

All it means is all the games have a lower life span then other games, people keep playing them, just not as much, they move on.
