Daedric wrote No. It is not worth 20 dollars, it is worth a million!!!
An excellent DLC and easily comparable to DLC for previous games.
i would tend to disagree with you, i love the elderscrolls and have been counting the days untill DG was released, but tbh i was left at the end of the questline thinking, right.... so that ended pretty fast and anti-climatic, i mean considering it costs 1600 MSP and shvering isles only cost 1200, and that added a whole new region and a whole lot more content than DG did for skyrim i would have to say in comparison no its no where near worth the points, How ever it did breath life into a game that was in my opinion getting a little stale, having completed the game almost 9 times with different races and play styles.

It all depends on how you play. I played it on Master with my level 60-62 on the Vampire side. It was excellent and all hate for it vanished. I wanted a DLC with a huge war between Thalmor and whichever side you chose for the Civil War. Dawnguard angered me because vampires seem overplayed and just old now. Bethesda nailed it perfectly though and I loved it. Especially Serana.
