Very good PC specs i would yes because then you know that the ram would lst longer because games no-a-days are requiring more and more ram

If you're not maxing out the current capacity now, you'll see zero difference. You're just wanting to upgrade just for the sake of upgrading.

Yes I do suppose I am doing a little of that, but I do alot of editing and graphic design, how can I tell if Im maxing out the capacity?

Start menu > task manager > view running processes > performance > memory.
If you're not exceeding the 8GB ram capacity, it'd be worthless and you'd be throwing your money straight out of the window.
