Reporting your site to the DCMA complaints site for selling copyrighted material.

Haha these are definitely the worst L4D2 mods i have ever seen lolol your mods are a joke you have maybe 10 mods total lolol i have over 600 total in mine lolol plus i had mods for this game ages ago and why are you selling copyrighted material im pretty sure thats illegal?? lol

DCMA, does not scare me. (sorry not trying to act tough) but all they can do is cut me off from web services. ex: adsenes web-hosting, etc... but since im with an ad hosting company they will go through them. and webs (my hoster) will only delete that site (in which i already have a backup of and will only have to re-upload under a new domain. also DCMA complaint can only be made when you are the complete owner of said copyright material. and if you knew some law there are ways to get around copyright laws. on top of that the only people that can sue are the makers themself and if they did decide to sue they would lose way more money then they would gain.

Also, no offense to TTG but this whole website participates in a unfathomable amount of illegal stuff. I don't see you reporting them?

After seeing misinformation running amuck in this thread, I felt obligated to point some things out to all parties.

1. It's DMCA not DCMA.

2. As for what higuy said about the DMCA only being able to take down his site, that's not true. The DMCA can issue fines through your national government.

3. You profiting off of discs that you were not allowed to sell would be far more frowbed upon by major companies than the aforementioned toxicmodz person's modifying for personal use, and therefore legal action would be far more likely.

I hope I didn't offend anybody; I just couldn't resist clearing this up.

If I were you, I definitely would not risk it. For each disc you sell, you can be fined $250,000.

By posting here that you know it's illegal, leniency would also be denied. I will leave you to your thread now, but I highly recommend not partaking in such an activity.
