Xbox customer support has no idea what to do... So i figured I'd ask you guys!

My xbox freezes inconsistently only on some games. Call of Duty for example sometimes i can play it for an hour or so, other times 2 seconds...then it just freezes. Before you go thinking you have solved the problem here is everything I have done to try to identify/fix the issue

Unplug/replug everything
try installing games
buy games off marketplace
tried wifi and wired
tried playing off of a usb
tried playing on someone elses internet
tried opening all ports related to the games
tried clearing HDD
tried someone elses profile on my xbox
tried clearing cache
tried factory defaulting

I currently have it opened up and am ready to try anything you guys suggest

My xbox has something i call the "5 Skip Lag"
My xbox freezes for a second, unfreezes then repeats 4 more times to total of 5. I think its because its old. Your xbox could have the same problem but it just gets stuck frozen, instead of skipping like mine.

I have that too, as does my friend, we call that 'Xbox Lag', haha. But it can't because it's old because I bought a slim thinking it wont do it, but it ended doing it on that too.

OT: I've all the things you've tried and I really don't have any other suggestions, you've done most of them. Maybe get another Xbox?
