I ran out of gold the other day so i decided to use the exploit where i change my locale to japan and download some game and get a free 48 hour trail. That worked one day but the next day i was back to silver. I tried it again some other times but it was not working. My friend gave me his legitimate 48 hour trail from xbox and I typed it in and it said i redeemed it and it doesnt work. Im still silver. Did i get banned?

i think its all messed up when i entered 3 48 hr code it says they were invalid

No, its because of the error with the Servers a couple days ago. When they get the problem fixed it should work.

Give it a few days or so, and check back. There's been problems with Microsoft..

Those are patched, and you can only use them to play that game.
