Dungeon Defenders Game Review

[ Register or Signin to view external links. ]

General:
You roam around the game as one of the four player classes given.
The Squire, Apprentice, Monk, and Huntress. The best and coolest weapons are with the Huntress.
I personally play with the Squire because I always like the knight in armor look in RPG games.
The max level you can achieve is 76 after the recent update, you buy items using a currency called mana.
The max mana you can gain is 200,000 which is ALOT.
They have made 3 DLC's so far planning to make a fourth completing the story line.

Release Date:
October 19th, 2011

Rating:
I would give it a overall rating of 9/10.
It keeps me entertained and there are so many weapons you can get.

Developers:
The developers of the game are Trendy Entertainment and Unreal Technology.

Graphics:
The graphics are outstanding on a HDTV but without they are just as good.
One factor that depends on how good the graphics are is how bright you chose for the brightness setting.

Platforms:
You can play this game on the Xbox, PS3, or PC.

Genre:
Tower defense and action RPG.
Two of the best genres put together.

Players:
There are 4 players you can have in a game at once, online or offline.

C'mon man, you could do better than that! Tell us about the story mode of the game (if there is one), Graphics, and any additional modes that the game has to offer.

Tell us more about the game!

;)

Game- Sonic Adventure

Story- Sonic adventure sees the player trying to stop Chaos, a monster who has been unleashed by the evil Dr. Robotnik (eggman) and has you trying to find all 7 of the chaos emeralds before eggman does. The emeralds are what feeds chaos and once he gets all 7 he will be unstoppable.

Characters- You get to play as 8 characters in total. The first is Sonic which is your usual running around collecting rings, fighting enemies and getting to the end of the level as quickly as possible.

Tails is the 2nd character and is pretty much the same as sonic but you can fly past most of the maps for quicker competion times so you miss most of the scenery with tails.

Knuckles is next and his play style is very different. Knuckles' levels are all about finding three shattered parts of the master emerald on each level so that it can be put back together again.

Amy is the 4th character. Amy is running around trying to get to the end of the level but she has an evil robot chasing her throughout each level which you can stun but not kill so her levels are a bit harder and exciting.

Big the cat is the 5th character and let's just say his levels are very unique. His levels involve fishing for his pet frog "Froggy" who has eaten a chaos emerald and you must catch him in each level to get the emerald back.

The last character that is unlocked straight away is E-102 "Y" who is a robot that worked for Eggman before sonic beat him in battle and amy tells you that e-102 helped her so he wants to join your group and seek revenge on the evil Dr.

Next is SS Super Sonic who is unlocked after finishing the game with all of the other characters. Super sonic is just one level but it is the proper ending and the final boss battle against chaos which is very fun and just plays the same as sonic's levels.

Metal sonic is the last character and is only available in the DX version of Sonic Adventure. Metal sonic is only available after all 130 emblems are collected in game and then Metal Sonic is available for use in trial and mission mode.

Graphics- The graphics are great considering that the game came out in the late 90s. It was also the first sonic game that revolutionized the 3D graphics that we have in sonic games today. Most of the textures are very colorful and vibrant with a few popping in and out at times.

Gameplay- The gameplay is very fast paced and keeps you going all of the time. You are never stuck either as there is a red light called Tikal which will help you if you hit it.
The only problem that I would have with the gameplay is the camera. The camera is brilliant on most levels but there are certain times where the camera angles have gotten me killed for stupid reasons and leaving me frustrated at why the developers didn't notice these at the time.

Overall View- In conclusion I think that the game is an overall 8/10. The gameplay is very fluent and the 3D graphics are great. The controls are very easy with only a few buttons being used and you are never stuck or never have nothing to do. The only bad thing is the camera which I mentioned earlier which is the only bad point out of all the game and is only seen in a few parts of the game so it is not too bad. In terms of longevity the game takes a good 15-20 hours to complete all story missions with all characters and then there
is trial and mission modes which take an extra 5-10 hours to complete all of them. and the chao garden where you raise chao and that can take as long as you want.

It is available on Dreamcast, Gamecube, PS1, XBLA, PSN and PC for around 5-10 pounds or dollars.

Correct the format and I will post this.

He means.. correct the format.. so.. I suggest you add the [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] instead of that humongous photo you have right now.. it looks a little better IMO, that is the Sonic you are doing a review on, right?

Now you should add the release date which was December 23, 1998, as well as adding the platform, developer, etc. and this is just my opinion, but I think that you should center align the title of that section you are reviewing (for example - Graphics, Characters, etc.) then pressing enter on your keyboard and put the details about that certain section, below it.

For an example of this look at John's review on Call of Duty 4 see how he aligned the title of that section he was doing, then the details about it were below it? It just makes it look more neater, plus it only takes a second to do it so why not?

Pad the sections out a little more and add an image.

Genre: Action, Survival, Horror
Players: 75,000 + 6-Player Online
Rating: M - 17+

Synopsis:
Killing Floor is a Multiplayer First Person Shooter. With its setting in England, you need to Survive against Zombies and clean the broken down cities and towns from their devastation. You, and friends are part of the military, who need to help the citizens of England, in a race against time.

Story:
Based in England, you and your military buds need to kill any Zombies in the rundown cities you're saving. Kill all 10 types of Zombies. Play alone, or with friends and slaughter zombies with knives, flamethrowers, axes, shotguns, and many more weapons!
Good luck, while you try to finish off the Zombie Horde!

Gameplay-Single player:
Single player is intense and harsh! It can be scary at times, but you will feel like one bad dude when you're sniping zombies heads off, and chainsawing them, limb by limb! In single player, it's simple. Kill zombies, get money, buy weapons and ammo from the Trader. You also have Offline mode for single player!

Gameplay-Multiplayer:
There are many things to choose from in Multiplayer. You can do Co-Op Campaign with a friend, or go into a intense 6 player match, and survive waves of Zombies. You can make one player a welder, one a sniper, one a train leader, one a rusher, and much, much more! There are endless possibilities.

Graphics:
The graphics are really good! Even at its lowest settings, you can read everything clearly and still have fun with the game. At maxed settings it's unbelievable, especially being made in 2009. This is a great game if your computer can't run games with high settings.

Controls:
It's an FPS Game. All FPS Controls are usually the same, or similar. Keyboard is used for moving, tossing equipment, healing yourself and others and the mouse is used for shooting, zooming, and knifing. The controls can be edited in anyway you choose. Controls are nothing to worry about, because they are easily used and at the bottom of your screen it will tell you what buttons do what. Ex : If you're next to a weapon, it will say "Press [Set Button] to pick up [Weapon].

Information:
The game is based in England, there are over 170 Achievements, and over 30 weapons! It is completely configurable and has built in slow motion, to see blood and gore, but in a crisp, high definition slow motion!

Rating:
Out of 10, I'd have to give Killing Floor a Solid 8.
Great gun play, killing Zombies is fun, the Story mode is satisfying, and and overall great game. The only thing keeping the game from getting a 9 or 10 is its low amount of maps.

The game - Transformers: Fall of Cybertron.

Release date: 24th August 2012
Genre: 3rd person shooter/action/adventure
Published by: Activision
Developed by: High moon studios
Rating: 4/5
Summary: the game is just a follow up from the 2010 release of War for Cybertron, Where at the end of the civil war, Autobots and deceptions had to return to their own planet.

When you first boot the game you are greeted with a welcome screen like most games and it gives you some options to choose such as multiplayer or solo, when i played this game a few days ago (05/07/12 UK) there was only the option of solo because the online servers for the game was not fully up and running, they was still working on them. I belive the online is like solo but you can interact with you friends and compleate the missions with them. This is good because some of thr solo missions become hard and you might just need that helping hand to give you a big boost. The weapons are similar to The old game but there is a huge increase of new weapons and they have added alot of tweaks to the game to make it as good as it is now. The game was supposed to be made for the wii, xbox, ps3 and pc but moon studios later said that they will no longer be making it on wii and computer due to the amount of users on each interface. You can unlock cool things for the weapons such as Weapon fire which gives you the chance to boost your weapons speed up by 75 percent. Some of the transformers have a huge range of weapons but some just have simple things like a Shield. You start of with a very basic charecter and when you progress through the game you unlock more advanced and more developed charecters. The co op feature that was in the first game has been dropped But multiplayer horde has been added. There is no health system in the game from as far as i know, well there wasn't when i played it, but there was a feature added that was a regenerative System. there will also be a system where you can redeem codes that you can buy of the internet and you unlock new things and packs, it is like halo and you can also unlock a couple of xbox live avatar features when you get to some stages throughout the game.
