So the power brick for my Xbox 360 got full of dust, and I couldnt feel the air going through it. So I used a vacuum to suck out the dust, but now when I turn on the Xbox 360 using that power brick, I don't hear the power brick's fan, and if I put my ear on the power brick I hear a slight buzzing noise. The Xbox 360 works and the power brick still gives power to the Xbox 360, but I'm not sure if the power brick's fan is dead. I'm not sure if that's normal and the fan kicks in as the xbox gets hotter and I just noticed all of this now or if the power bricks fan is broken.

So should u get a new power brick, or is the old one still working perfectly?

take it apart and try to fix it but if you can't i would get a new one because if the power brick gets too hot i think the xbox will shut off. Maybe look for a replacement fan that would be cheaper than a whole new powerbrick.

The Same Happened To Me.
Now I Lay My Power-brick Up Right On The Wall And The Fan Works?

Really Weird.

Check the light on your power supply, it can indicate if it needs to be replaced or not. You can order a replacement at myservice.xbox.com and your console needs to be registered to do so. If still under warranty it may be covered, if not , you will have to pay for it. Registering your console, ensures you get the correct power supply.
