The problem im having at the moment is when i start my laptop up the fans and hard drive all start up and the power light comes on but the screen is completely black. I have tried removing the battery and running it on just DC power but i get nothing.

I really need some advice on what i should do to fix this problem.'

Laptop:
Toshiba Satellite C655D-S5511
CPU:AMD E-240
Graphics card: AMD Radeon 6310 HD

My Laptop starts up but nothing shows on the screen at all... Someone please help!!!!

I had this same problem with my Toshiba. There are a few things that may cause it. 1 being your laptop might be overheating on the bottom, when it gets to hot your computer goes into recovery mode and will turn the display off. Or you may have some malware or a RAT taking control of your computers settings.

I would suggest purchasing a laptop cooling pad to prevent this and i would do a few virus scans.

To scan your PC for a virus download [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] and do a FULL PC scan and remove all threats after.

To be even more sure your clean do a scan with another program.
Download Hitman Pro and do a full scan aswell.

Ok, could you try connecting the PC to an external screen. From there we can try and work out if its the graphics card, the screen or what. So, just connect your laptop to a PC scree and post results.

Im not able to this since i do not own a desktop or a HDMI or VGA cable.
