You can also recieve rep from other members for being helpful. Any rep you recieve from other players counts as 1 rep point. 100 rep points = 1 rep power. And I am assuming you will have this question later, so I am going to answer it ahead of time. If you give someone rep, it will not deduct from yours. Hope this helped.
