If you need slimes or slime balls then why don't you just mod your inventory?

That has absolutely nothing to do with finding slimes.

actually it does they only live in extremely dark and wet caves if there is any lava at all there wont be any slimes


False yet again. Light doesn't affect the spawn rate of slimes. Even my cave has massive amounts of lava in it yet slimes spawn there all the time.

SLimes spawn in any light level in levels y:5-10 where the space is 3 blocks high, you can build a slime farm by going to y:6 and mining a big area out that is 3 tall, thats what i did yesterday and it works fine.
