Ok so I'm looking for a FAST computer that will be good for video editing/Graphic design, but the only thing is I travel alot, and I go back and forth between my moms and dads house. Would computer would you guys think. At this point I'm thinking mac because of the no glitch/Virus thing, there really isn't any screw ups in them. Also I do have an HD PVR and not sure if I can use it on a mac. Price limit is probably around $1600 ( 15inch mac book pro is 1500)

You can build a really beast PC with that budget

Go there and just tell them what you are going to be using the PC for

 Why are you even CONSIDERING getting a mac?

No to a laptop either, definitely build your own computer. It really isn't hard to do, and you can easily make a monstrously powerful rig with a $1600 budget ;)

I would most likely go with making your own computer because u can make one that is really beast for editing. It would just be kind of hard to take back and forth to someones house.
