Why would you want a $1,200 CPU, overkill RAM, and a shoddy case matched up with a low end video card considering the budget? It's obvious he must be rendering 1080p files 24/7. Useless to the majority of the consumer market. Unless you're running 3D modelling and creation programs on multiple monitors whilst multitasking and rendering and/or coding files in the background, you won't see any difference between that a 2500k. Plus, a lot of x79 boards have been recalled, mainly for catching on fire.
