Try building the roof higher and light up your room

I did mine 20x20x4 and I got slime, I had to wait like a half hour though.

That's not near big enough. And you really should find slime chunks first! :facepalm:

Roof doesn't need to be higher and light it up won't make them spawn since slime spawn with light or without.

Actually no, A slime chunk is 16x16 big so if he built his slime farm directly on a slime chunk then a 16x16 room is big enough since slime are only gonna spawn in that 16x16 slime chunk area.

Do you have a lot of torches placed on the floor?

If so, then that's the reason slimes aren't spawning because slimes or other mobs can't spawn on a torch so if you have a lot of them placed down then your not giving enough room for slimes to spawn on.

Try placing the torches on the wall instead or use Glowstone.

right i made 1 last night is 50 X 50 x 4 if u add me on xbox later i will let u see it ( havent tested it yet as it was late last night when i finished it so will be testing it later.
