We recommend AMD all the time at low budgets because that's where they're better options than Intel. Just haven't needed to recently. Intel is a better option than AMD above the ~$500 build price point right now. It's got nothing to do with preference or bias, it's just that we recommend what's best for the price.

Thanks in advance, and please PM me the parts and such, both my friends graphics card and my parts for the computer build.

Budget & Currency: $ 2,500 USD (I am also fixing a computer requiring a new graphics card. It is a PCIe and I am willing to pay 225 USD for it. Any ideas on that would be nice)

Peripherals & Monitor: I only need a new keyboard and mouse, everything else is covered (preferably wired mouse and keyboard though)

Games: Battlefield 3, ARMA 2, Call of Duty: Black ops, Terraria, Sniper Ghost Warrior, Left 4 Dead 2, Far Cry 2, Fallout: New Vegas, Fallout 3, Skyrim, Oblivion, Counter strike (also Condition Zero and Source) Dead Island, FIFA 12, Sims 3, Minecraft (256x256 textures), Call of Duty World at War, Batman Arkham Asylum, From Dust, Alan Wake American Nightmare (Sorry for the large list)

Software: Microsoft Office 2010, Cinema 4D, Roxio Creator, Origin, Steam, Skype, Photoshop, After Effects, Minecraft Server (both .jars and .exes)

Aesthetics: I don't really care how the internals look, as longs as the preformance is good, then I am a happy man. Also as long as the case isn't to flashy I'm fine, so something like a black, white or light color

Rebates/Promos: Yes, please include the rebates in the final price. Also I would prefer this stuff to be from amazon, tigerdirect or newegg.

Details: I already have 2 21" monitors, so no monitors are needed. I would prefer 64-bit computer, I already have Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit purchased. I plan on using this computer as a gaming/progamming computer, so i would prefer at least two hard drives, a primary and a backup, both being the same hard drive. I would prefer at least a dual layer CD burner. Lastly no wireless will be needed, as I will use an Ethernet cable. And please give me graphics card advice for my friends pc, he currently has a Radeon 3870 HD (PCIe), and wants to stay in the 225 USD and below range.

There is not one program or game that comes to mind that won't be destroyed on this PC. You're getting the best components out, mainly the the two 680's. You'll blaze through everything.

Great upgrade options. Top notch parts. It's completely overkill if you're not playing at a above average resolution like 2560 x 1440p for example.

Please read the OP before posting. This applies to everyone. It's for your own good. We do not want to waste our time.

* * * * * BEFORE YOU POST * * * * *

(You're looking at spending a considerable amount of money and therefore should read ALL of this post)

We are doing this for free and are only willing to do so if this service is taken seriously. We will not do builds for you just to see what you can get, we're here to give you a list of parts that we expect you to order within the next few days. Posting well in advance is a complete waste of our time, your time, and likely your money. If you'd like an idea of what your money will get you, look through the thread. We've done a ton of these, and there's bound to be one that's similar or even identical to your request. Do not use old builds, though.

The earliest I would submit a request is one week, and that's pushing it. Deals cycle and prices change. Included in my posts are promo codes that almost always include expiration dates. I have no way of predicting these and new ones come up frequently, which results in a different recommendation. Combos are another method I use to keep prices very low, and those are as dynamic as promo codes are. They're integral to the decisions I make.

For your own sake, post as late as you can. We handle all doable requests within 24 hours. Feel free to send me a message if you think you were glossed over, it was probably an accident as we are merely human. If I will be unable to do requests for an extended period of time, I'll do my best to make it known.

We're not going to do multiple builds for you. If you changed your mind, tough. That only proves that you were not serious when you posted initially. This is a complete waste of our time. If you have a legitimate reason, PM me or whoever did your build.

Very rarely do people give any indication they even saw the build one of us did. No posts in response, no rep, no thanks. We couldn't care less about the latter two, but please, just do something. Shoot us a PM, respond to the topic, write on our wall, anything!

Private messaging us what should be posted here will not speed anything up or give you any priority. I'll either redirect you here or ignore you because you didn't read what was clearly stated. Do not contact us on AIM or another messaging service, either unless you actually need something sorted out or want to discuss something. Even then, it should be posted here or handled via PM if possible.

Euro builds probably just won't happen. Sorry guys. We're dealing with a language barrier and are unfamiliar with shipping, unique components, and retailers.

If you don't comply with these simple terms, we're not going to help you. Simple as that. This is a favor we're doing you, don't take unfair advantage of it. This is our topic and we will do what we see fit. We're here to help and we want to make it as painless for us as it is for you.

Pleas help need my laptop soon!

Giving gaming performance any sort of priority with a laptop, especially at this price point, will just get you far worse quality. Integrated graphics will run Minecraft acceptably.

If you ask me, this is about the best you can do right now. Good i5, 4GB of (easily upgradeable to 8 or even 16), 1.8" SSD leaving a free bay, 1600x900 resolution on a 14" panel, stupid awesome Thinkpad build quality...

This won't last long, nothing does on the Outlet, but when you're ready to buy it's likely there will be a system like this or better.

Thank you very much. Hooking it up to my 2 21" monitors shouldn't be a problem. Currently I'm ordering the parts. Also sorry to ask again, my friend wants a new graphics card, willing to pay 225, PCIe slot. Any ideas on that? If not thank you very much for all your help. YOu have been +repped.
