I Cant find slim went down to bed rock and cant find it looked for over 1 hour

Change it to normal, go back to the top and make a bed and sleep . Go to slime farm and they should be there if you built the farm big enough. If not, just wait.

People misinformed you as well.

You need to be below layer Y:16. You also have to be on a specific slime chunk, you can't just start looking randomly.
