Hey guys ive been trying to upgrade my Acer Aspire 7739-6830's ram to 8gbs instead of 4gb. i know its a piece of shit laptop but what do i need to do that? which memory is recommended for this laptop? is it possible i break my laptop like this?
Any help is needed, thanks.


EDIT: I have a Intel Core i3-370m if i wanted to upgrade my processor which one should i buy? thanks.

i got my RAM upgrade from Crucial.com. they are a good brand when it comes to computer upgrades. Just put in your computer type, and they'll give you recommended upgrades when it comes to hard drives or RAM cards.

FYI, if you're not maxing out and capping your current 4gb kit, you're not going to see a performance improvement by upgrading.

More speed would involve a new processor which as stated before, is near impossible.
