Okay, so this JUST started and its weird. I was playing Mafia II and so I decide to get off. A little bit later I try to start back up my Xbox and I notice the power brick is red. So I unplug it from my Xbox and the wall and I wait for the light to turn off. I plug it into the wall and it turns orange, then right when I plug it into my Xbox it turns red again. I have tried 2 other power bricks and it works for a while then it turns red and the same thing happens. Please help and I'll rep

I have tried day after day and I let it cool off (unplugged it from wall) and they still all turn red. I have a feeling its a problem with the Xbox... and I bought the Xbox off eBay without the warranty sticker so I'm ****

All the power bricks are fine and work on any Xbox except the one that turns them red. As in power brick 1 works on xbox 1, but when plugged into the bad Xbox it just turns red.

It might be the xbox then, give xbox a ring and they will go though some trouble shooting steps with you.

From Xbox Support:
Flashing orange, solid red, or no light: Your power supply may need to be replaced. Try the following solutions:

Try plugging your consoles power supply into a different electrical outlet. Do not use a surge protector.
If the power supply light is solid red or flashing orange, unplug the power supply and let it cool for 30 minutes. Then, plug the power supply back into the outlet.

If your power supply light is still flashing orange, solid red, or unlit, your power supply needs to be replaced. You can Order a replacement Xbox 360 power supply from our Xbox Online Service Center. Console registration is required to replace the power supply under warranty (the power supply warranty is the same as your console warranty).
