So yea like the topic states I'm looking to buy a couple of unshared type 2 kv's. I'm going to try out the whole sharing kv thing and see how much much of a hassle it is and if it's worth it.

To reduce the chance of anyone being scammed here this is how I plan to operate my business:

Phase 1:
1) If you have a unshared kv you want to sell me, contact me on AIM and we'll work out the price.
2) Send me the kv. I will test the kv out with my reverse JTAG to make sure it's not banned. If it's banned we are done with business and you will not be paid anything.

Phase 2:
1) I'll offer the kv up for sale as shared. I'll wait till I get 4 buyers.
2) I'll test the kv out again with my reverse JTAG right before I send the kv out to everyone. If it's unbanned I'll send it out to everyone and at this point I'll go ahead and pay you (the unshared kv provider.)

If I paid you before you sent me the unshared kv, you could just take my money and run. If I paid you and you sent me the kv and it was unbanned you could quickly go and use it before I got a chance to share it. By delaying paying you and by testing the kv twice before actually sharing it, I ensure nobody is going to get ripped off.

With this method the only person that can scam you is ME. You don't have to trust anyone else but me. When you buy a kv from someone else there's usually 3 or 4 people involved, anyone of which could be dishonest, thus ruining the kv for everyone. Here you don't have to worry about that.
