Fallout New Vegas is epic. But Fallout 3 is much better.
I have played around 700 hours all together on Fallout 3 and New Vegas.

Very good games.

$4.99 is a bargain.

I have 252 hours on Fallout New Vegas and 167 on Fallout 3 GOTY and I have windows 7 and it runs super smooth.

yes get fallout new vegas it is a great game to play especially when you play it with mods that make it more challenging, other then that i advise you to get it since its on sale
