Ok, so regardless of what you believe we all know that christianity is the largest faith in the world at this point. They want EVERYONE to join their religion, no matter what it takes.
Now, keeping that in mind, lets look at the illuminati; They are centered around selling your soul and worshiping the christian devil
Now, lets take a creator (God) out of the picture. No creator (God) = no counter to the creator (The Devil), therefore taking away the purpose of the illuminati and making it obsolete.
(This is where my hypothesis/theory comes in.)
As i've said and we know, the catholic church would do anything to get people to convert/believe, so they go after the biggest growing industry; the media.
They then start the rumor of musicians selling their soul to the devil and pay musicians to put subliminal messages in their lyrics and use moderately sataninc handsigns, all in an attempt to scare others into believing and following their faith.
