Neither do you. An I5 will perform perfectly if the build is heavily gaming orientated. I3's aren't bad either.

And yeah if yo got an i5 of course it would run better but I am just stating my opinion

I think this cpu is very good i had it for a while in my old pc and it ran very well i played cod4 and gta 4 on it fine.

and anyways you are going completely of the topic the question was is the e8400 good for gaming? and I have said it is good for gaming and that's my opinion and you have a different one and I dont agree with it end of STORY
