Mitchellbakker wroteHGM_Leader wrote try this it worked for me but its only a temp solouton lasted about 2 months for me
turn xbox on
get a straw or something like it
put it in the holes at the back and stop fan spinning
wait about 5 min and it should overheat and give you 2 red rings
let it cool down unplug power and turn it back on
Hope this helps

Good job you have just successfully messed up your jtag even more. Lol those tricks will just permanently mess up your xbox they may work temporarily but without professional care you are looking at a useless box.

Mitchellbakker wrote its still broken any more advice??you can buy a rrod repair kit make sure you get one with a shim replace your xclampswith bolts etc and when you have the heatsinks off try to heat up the chips carefully tho put new better paste on it and resink them. or you can shell out some money for a reball witch is 10000x better than what i previously said

F me, mine just got the RROD after 3 days of use. I'm so disappointed. I got sent an older first generation Standard Definition jtag'd box and I knew this would happen, as it happened to 2 previous first-gen boxes I had. Dammit!!!!
