Ok so i am finally getting around to having a good gaming computer so i can play games with no lag in video or anything and was wondering if anyone could help me with what i should get.

Motherboard:TA990FXE Socket AM3+ 990FX ATX AMD Motherboard
Hard Drive:Barracuda 2TB 7,200 RPM SATA 6.0Gb/s 3.5" Internal Hard Drive STBD2000101
Processor:FX 4100 Black Edition 3.6GHz Quad-Core Socket AM3+ Boxed Processor
DVD Drive:G 12X SATA Blu-ray Burner with 3D Playback and M Disc support - OEM

i have most of the stuff but i still need a video card and it needs HDMI. i was just gonna see what i should get and how good this is so far?

Well, that build is very messy, you have a crappy processor in there, and too much ram, I doubt you will be maxing out 8GBs.

This looks as if you're one of the kids that picks the most expensive components and throws them together thinking it'll be the best. Go ask for some help before you try something expensive like this.

The i5-2500K is the norm if you can afford it.


The 2500k would be the best choice, but if you can't afford it, I would go for the i3 2100.
