Why in the world would a Unicorn come in your room to sharpen its horn? Im pretty sure it wouldnt be able to fit through the door or window without freaking out and destroying almost everything in your room without waking you up. There is nothing you can say now that would make me think that it could of appeared in your room.

I live in a large house, my room is quite big including doorways etc.

Maybe you scratched the wall in your sleep. I once stood up in my sleep and jumped head first off my bed. It happens.

There are thousands of things that could have happened which are way more plausible than a Unicorn sharpening its horn.

I know it sounds stupid i just wanted opinions is all...

If you want my honest opinion, you need to see a doctor.
I can promise you that a unicorn wouldn't just flutter on down into your room to give its horn a sharpening.
