Right now im going for 80 Defense for higher mage armour.
Im on a 8M budget.
Someone give me the best combination of armour to have the best bonuses etc.
Im thinking barrows.
What weapon too?
Just give me a good setup for 8M.

Get full void melee at pest control, it is free and pretty damn good and just use a whip with a dragon defender.

Theres alot of good armour for 8m its just you need to find the best one for you to be honest and what your use to.

I would use Void Mage, It rapes with the Polypore.

For my setup to get to 80 CB stats I used:
Nezzy
Rune Plate (or fighter torso)
Dragon Platelegs
Dragon Defender
Whip
RFD Gloves
D boots
Zerker Ring
Fury or Glory
You could use barrows armor but I never use it for training (its a personal preference cause I hate when it degrades) If I did use barrows I'd go for Torags helm, plate, legs, whip, and dragon defender

Now that I see what you mean, sorry about bringing post back up but I would use guthans to train defense at Bandit camp and maybe armored zombies.

if mage bonus use
infinity top bottom boots and gloves mages' book and seers ring and idk what hat
melee bonus'
whip
fighter torso
rune platelegs
dragon boots
zerk ring
fury
any defender
and a firecape if you have 1
and a nezzy
